Fully Charged is a charity music festival organized by SHS Leadership. The idea for the production was introduced by a student who wanted to honor former Summerville High student Tylon Vaughan, who suffers from an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

“The students wanted to do this as a project and when we found out about Tylon’s MS we thought it would be a great way to honor him at McKissick Field” explained Leadership director, Teal Miller.

The talent for the festival includes local musicians like Ben Whitney, Clayton Lewis, Podunk, and Faith Shuler.

The audience can expect “great music with lots of covers” said Miller. The artists will cover a wide variety of music including pop, country, jazz, and more.

T-shirts and buttons will be sold at the spring football game on Friday and if worn to the event will act as tickets for the event. Shirts will be on sale for $10 while buttons will be sold for $5. Students will also be able to purchase tickets at the door.

Fully Charged will be held at John McKissick Memorial Stadium on Friday, May 19 from 5-10pm. Come out to enjoy various musical performances and support a great cause.
